Friends, how the hell are you? How are you really?
I write this to you not from the Hallmark channel fantasy that Thistle's Summit normally is. I write this to you from a moment when reality has never seemed more dystopian. My dining room table is covered with remnants of the past few days: a power drill, watercolors, a small note pad filled with writing that I can barely discern, and not one but two beverages in front of me. I am wearing a stocking cap and feeling in desperately in need of a shower and some fresh air. I imagine most of you feel the same. This moment is far from easy.
We try to seek positives in this moment of universal concern and doubt. We attempt to embrace the pause, in spite of the panic. Every day at Thistle's Summit we ask our guests to slow down, take a deep breath or five and relish in the pause.
