Holiday Ordering Guide 2024

Hardly seems possible we have arrived at the holiday season again! This will be our 5th year at your table and it is just as much an honor now as when this business started hocking cookies out of my home kitchen in Mount Vernon, Iowa. 

Everything is a little bigger and bolder now than it was back then, thanks to our commercial kitchen! But I can promise you it all still tastes just like your grandma made it (or even better, we won’t tell her). And every piece that goes out the door is still made with my own two hands.

We know everyone celebrates differently and throughout the season so we have 4 pick-up opportunities for you to pre-order your baked goods. You can order directly through the link here. Shipping is not available. All goods can be picked up from our shop located at 340 SW5th #122. Please take careful note that you order for the correct day. Honestly, that’s the hardest task we put on you, you simply show up and we do all the work for you. Pretty sweet deal that gives you more time to make memories. 

Our menu features nostalgic flavors that have been at my table through the years. Everything is gluten-free and vegan, just as you have come to expect from Thistle’s Summit*. 

*Only one exception to that- this year I wanted to make some of my famous cinnamon rolls too. They are not vegan or gluten-free, they are old-school traditional with butter, milk and gluten. These are noted very specifically. They bring me joy and I’m doing alot more of what brings me joy these days. WE ALSO CARRY VEGAN GLUTEN-FREE CINNAMON ROLLS. Everyone is taken care of at our table. Everything is noted, please order accordingly.
